Our rendition of this approachable yet complex classic prohibition-era cocktail combines the tartness of lemon juice with the sweet and earthy tones from the addition of Manitoba honey. A touch of lavender rounds out this cocktail with subtle floral notes.
Originally created to mask the poor flavor of prohibition-era gin, we believe this cocktail is actually quite capable of showcasing the high quality gins that are available today.
Instructions: In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz Bee's Knees Cocktail Mix with 2 oz of your favorite Gin. Fill shaker with ice and shake until properly aerated and chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a brandied cherry and lemon twist.
