We think this classic cocktail deserves a second chance after frequently being quashed by variations with poor quality ingredients and equally poor quality tequila. While the high proportion of orange juice leads to a naturally sweeter flavor profile, our version uses a house grenadine that, when paired with a quality tequila, showcases the approachable nature of this often misrepresented classic.
Instructions: In a highball glass filled with ice, combine 2 oz Tequila Sunrise Cocktail Mix with 2 oz Tequila. Stir ice a few times to incorporate. Garnish with half an orange wheel and fresh lime wheel.
